Retirement Readiness Bundle — $59

See how your retirement projection changes across three modelled scenarios.

You've got a savings figure, a target retirement age, and a rough idea of what you'll want to spend. The Retirement Readiness Bundle helps you explore how those figures fit together — and how the picture changes under different assumptions.

Having the numbers is one thing.
Seeing how they fit together is another.

You may know roughly what you've saved, when you'd like to retire, and what you expect to spend. What's harder to see is how those figures actually relate to each other — and how much that relationship shifts if one assumption changes.

The Retirement Readiness Scorecard

The Free 5-Number Retirement Check gives you a quick baseline read.

The Scorecard goes further: using the same figures, it models three separate scenarios — a different retirement age, a different monthly contribution, and a different spending level — so you can see how each assumption changes the projection on its own.

It also shows a separate view of your projection under 3%, 4%, and 5% real-return assumptions.

Before You Retire: Questions Worth Asking

Review retirement considerations outside the Scorecard's numerical projection — areas like government benefits, healthcare, housing, tax, family circumstances, and planning documents.

You don't need to use everything at once. Start with the Scorecard, then use the supporting tools when they're useful to you.

How it works

  • 1

    Enter your figures

Current age, target retirement age, savings, monthly contribution, expected spending, and estimated pension/benefit income.

  • 2

    See the projection

Your baseline projection, compared against a modelled target based on your entered figures.

  • 3

    Explore the three scenarios

See how the projection changes under:

    • a different retirement age
    • a different monthly contribution
    • a different spending assumption

Shown separately

Then view the same projection separately under 3%, 4%, and 5% real-return assumptions.

The return sensitivity is separate from the three modelled scenarios.

Why this approach

  • Today's-dollar framing

Figures are shown in today's dollars, so the projection reflects what those amounts would buy today rather than presenting a forecast of future prices.

  • Three scenarios shown separately

Retirement age, monthly contributions, and spending are modelled independently, so you can see how each assumption changes the projection on its own.

  • Separate return sensitivity

The 3%, 4%, and 5% real-return assumptions are shown separately from the three scenarios rather than being treated as another scenario.

  • Country-aware context

The Scorecard uses country-appropriate terminology and links to the relevant official government pension or benefit resource.

It does not calculate your pension entitlement for you — that figure remains self-entered.

Who it's for

For people who want a clearer, educational view of how their own figures compare under simplified model assumptions — and who want to see how that view shifts under different assumptions.

The Bundle is not designed to:

  • provide personalised financial advice
  • predict investment markets
  • calculate country-specific pension entitlements
  • account for every aspect of your financial circumstances
  • replace professional advice where that's appropriate

Frequently asked questions

Is this financial advice?

No. The Scorecard provides modelled educational estimates based on the assumptions you enter. The Bundle is for general educational purposes and does not replace professional advice where that's appropriate.

What countries does it support?

The Scorecard supports the US, UK, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand, with country-specific terminology and a link to the relevant official government pension/benefit resource.

The underlying calculation is the same across all five countries — country selection doesn't change the formula.

What if I don't know my government pension/benefit amount?

You can enter your best estimate, or $0 if you're unsure.

The Scorecard links to the official government resource for your country, but this figure is always self-entered — it's never calculated for you.

Can I print or save my Scorecard?

Yes. The Scorecard can be printed, saved as a PDF, downloaded as a branded PDF, or shared with a partner.

What spreadsheet software works with the spreadsheet tools?

The spreadsheet files are provided in .xlsx format.

Microsoft Excel is the preferred option, including on iPhone.

LibreOffice Calc also works well, with minor visual differences.

Google Sheets can open and calculate the Retirement Readiness Scorecard Spreadsheet, but some formatting — including country-based currency symbols — may not display correctly.

Apple Numbers is not recommended for the Retirement Readiness Scorecard Spreadsheet due to formatting/rendering differences.

Is this a subscription?

No. The Retirement Readiness Bundle is a one-time $59 purchase.

What do I receive after buying?

You receive the Retirement Readiness Scorecard and the three supporting tools: the Retirement Readiness Scorecard Spreadsheet, the Retirement Spending Planner, and Before You Retire: Questions Worth Asking.
